  • Authority is Author-Power

“Pilate took Jesus back into the headquarters again and asked him, ‘Where are you from? But Jesus gave no answer. ‘Why don’t you talk to me?’ Pilate demanded. ‘Don’t you realize that I have the power to release you or crucify you?’ Then Jesus said, ‘You would have no power over me at all unless it were given to you from above.’” -John 19:9-11 NLT

  • Jesus is that Authority

“Jesus came and told his disciples, ‘I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.” -Matthew 29:18 NLT

  • We Walk In Delegated Authority

Therefore, as you go, make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” -Matthew 28:19-20 NLT

  • Authority Made Possible By Resurrection

“But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.” -Ephesians 2:4-7 NLT

  • Everyone Bows To the Authority of Christ

“For Christ must reign until he humbles all his enemies beneath his feet. And the last enemy to be destroyed is death. For the Scriptures say, ‘God has put all things under his authority.’ (Of course, when it says, ‘all things are under his authority,’ that does not include God himself, who gave Christ his authority.)” -1 Corinthians 15:25-27 NLT

Christ’s Authority Does NOT Mean things always work the way we want them HERE.

Christ’s Authority Does Mean that we walk in CONFIDENCE, and TRUST in what our Father has done, is doing, and will do.
